Detailed responsibilities include:<\/p>\n
\tEnsure smooth production operation during shift
\n\tTrain and coach production line employees and conduct their performance reviews
\n\tResponsible for shift schedule to include workstation assignments\/rotations, employee training, employee vacations, employee breaks, overtime assignment, back-up for absent employees, and shift rotations.
\n\tCoordinate production start-ups, shutdowns, and changeovers.
\n\tResponsible for quality control during shift to produce product within specifications, meeting shift production goals, Preparing and submitting production reports timely and ensuring a clean and safe work area
\n\tAttending daily operation review meetings and make production presentation as necessary
\n\tManaging health and safety at work.
\n\tkeep records of workers\u2019 attendance report
\n\tInitiate and give Direction on any process changes to ensure product specifications are achieved and maintained by controlling and stopping non-conforming products from further processing.
\n\tThrough effective production line balancing, ensuring employee skills progression for maximum output and plants optimization.
\n\tEnsuring standard operating procedures are adhered to
\n\tProvide guidance and assistance to a team of production machine operators and assistance
\n\tAny other duty as may be assigned from time to time.<\/p>\n
Education and Experience Level and Other Desirable Attributes<\/p>\n
\tDiploma in Engineering, Food Science, Chemistry or related filed plus 3 years\u2019 experience in a similar role.
\n\tOrganizational and Leadership abilities
\n\tCommunication and interpersonal skills
\n\tPrevious experience in FMCG environment
\n\tSelf-motivated with a results-driven approach
\n\tProblem-solving skills
\n\tWorking knowledge on Good Manufacturing Practices, OSHA, and Production Process Control
\n\tBasic computer skills<\/p>\n
