Job Description<\/p>\n
To provide laboratory diagnostic services to staff members working in the company. This will be achieved through sampling, conducting analytical medical laboratory processes, production of results, validation and verification of results, and submission of the results to the clinician or patients<\/p>\n
Accountabilities<\/p>\n
\tConduct routine medical examination\u00a0to the staff members as guided by the clinical Officer
\n\tEnsure provision of quality and reliable medical laboratory services
\n\tEnsure adequate maintenance of laboratory equipment by facilitating scheduled servicing and planned preventive maintenance(PPM)
\n\tAct as the liason officer in matters pertaining to the running of the medical laboratory
\n\tEnsure that all medical laboratory equipment are adequately calibrated
\n\tEnsure that the laboratory maintains the operational standards as guided by the KMLTTB
\n\tEnsure availability of laboratory reagents and consumables
\n\tEnsure safety of patients and clients when in the laboratory<\/p>\n
Qualifications<\/p>\n
\tDegree or diploma in medical laboratory sciences from a recognized university
\n\tRegistered and licensed by the KMLTTB
\n\tCompleted at least a six (6) internship from a level 6 hospital
\n\tProgressive work experience of between 2-3 years in a busy laboratory
\n\tComputer Literacy
\n\tHave training \u00a0in quality management systems (QMS), specifically ISO 15189:2022 and awarded with a certificate<\/p>\n
