Key Duties and Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Financial Planning \u00a0<\/p>\n
\tDrive Total Plant(s) budgeting process. Coordinate and support budget information gathering process and ensure meeting of plant objectives and aid management decision making.<\/p>\n
Cost Management<\/p>\n
\tCost control \u2013 analyse, identify, and drive exploitation of cost saving opportunities.
\n\tLead cost effective & efficiency initiatives across the business and ensure maximization of product margins.<\/p>\n
Product Costing<\/p>\n
\tWork closely with the Plant Manager to drive product cost competitiveness.
\n\tMaintain accurate product costing in SAP (activity type and overheads rates updates)
\n\tWork closely with the Business Controller to develop competitive pricing strategies for various products to drive maximization of margins.<\/p>\n
Internal Controls<\/p>\n
\tEnsure effective internal controls are in place within plant revenue, expenditure, inventory processes etc to prevent loss of company\u2019s assets.<\/p>\n
Inventory Management<\/p>\n
\tEnsure optimum stockholding and a sound inventory control system.
\n\tMaintain and develop monthly stock taking and reconciliation procedures for all sites and depots.
\n\tEnsure inventory variances are fully investigated, approved, and booked on a timely basis including imported materials and external stores.<\/p>\n
plant performance<\/p>\n
\tPrepare timely, accurate and cost-effective plant reports and highlight variances so that management can take effective action to improve operating performance.
\n\tSupport the payables and receivables sections. Ensure smooth information and documentation flow for supplier payments processing at CSO.<\/p>\n
people management<\/p>\n
\tIdentify gaps and build capability for the Team.
\n\tOrientation, induction, and training of team members.
\n\tManage Performance weekly, Monthly.
\n\tDrive Succession Planning for the Team.
\n\tUphold the company\u2019s code of business conduct and ethics policy.
\n\tEnsure compliance to company programs including HR activities, Continual Improvement initiatives, Safety, GMP<\/p>\n
Job Requirements<\/p>\n
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:<\/p>\n
\tA University Graduate in a business-related field
\n\tQualified Accountant (CPA(K), ACCA, or equivalent)
\n\tComputer literate with hands-on working knowledge of SAP (CO,MM, PP), spread sheets and other MS Office Applications
\n\t5 years\u2019 work experience in a manufacturing environment, with a track record of inventory and production process achievement.<\/p>\n
