Duties & Responsibilities
\nAccounts Payable Duties:<\/p>\n
\tInvoice Processing: Review, verify, and process vendor invoices in a timely manner.
\n\tPayment Management: Prepare and execute payments, ensuring compliance with company policies and timelines.
\n\tVendor Relations: Liaise with vendors to resolve discrepancies, respond to inquiries, and maintain positive relationships.
\n\tReconciliation: Perform regular accounts payable reconciliations and assist in month-end financial close processes.
\n\tRecord Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all accounts payable transactions.
\n\tReporting: Generate accounts payable reports, including aging analysis and cash flow projections.<\/p>\n
Supply Chain Optimization Duties:<\/p>\n
\tProcurement Efficiency: Support the procurement team in optimizing inventory levels, reducing lead times, and managing supplier performance.
\n\tProcess Improvement: Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities and process improvements in the supply chain.
\n\tVendor Management: Assist in supplier selection, negotiations, and establishing long-term partnerships to ensure quality and cost efficiency.
\n\tInventory Control: Monitor stock levels of critical lab supplies, reagents, and equipment to avoid shortages or overstocking.
\n\tData Analysis: Analyze procurement and spending data to identify trends, optimize procurement strategies, and reduce costs.
\n\tCompliance & Documentation: Ensure all supply chain activities adhere to regulatory requirements and internal policies.<\/p>\n
Qualifications:<\/p>\n
\tBachelor\u2019s degree in Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
\n\tAt least 3 years of experience in accounts payable and\/or supply chain management, preferably in the healthcare or medical laboratory industry.
\n\tStrong knowledge of financial processes, accounting principles, and procurement best practices.
\n\tProficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
\n\tExperience with ERP systems and data analysis tools is a plus.<\/p>\n
