Job Purpose<\/p>\n
\tOperating imaging equipment to produce diagnostic images, positioning patients, and ensuring patient safety and comfort during procedures, while also maintaining equipment and adhering to safety protocols.<\/p>\n
Duties And Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tPrepare, position, and guide patients through imaging procedures while ensuring comfort and safety.
\n\tOperate and manage radiographic equipment (X- ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound) using appropriate techniques and settings.
\n\tEnsure high-quality diagnostic images and maintain accurate records within EMR and PACS systems.
\n\tMonitor patients during procedures, respond to any distress, and ensure adherence to safety and radiation protection protocols.
\n\tCollaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals for image interpretation and care planning.
\n\tMaintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment,
\n\treporting any issues promptly.
\n\tParticipate in quality improvement, training, and professional development initiatives.
\n\tSupport junior staff and uphold professional, ethical standards in patient care.
\n\tPerform additional duties as assigned.<\/p>\n
Professional Qualifications<\/p>\n
\tDiploma in Medical Imaging Sciences Registration by Radiation Protection Boards.<\/p>\n
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities<\/p>\n
\tExcellent interpersonal communication skills.
\n\tTeam player with strong leadership skills.
\n\tPossess relevant training and experience.
\n\tAble to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
\n\tComputer literate.
