\tCustoms & Regulatory Compliance\u00a0\u2014 Manage all import documentation (IDF, CoC, BoL, Packing Lists), liaise directly with KRA, KEBS, and Communication Authority of Kenya for telecom equipment approvals
\n\tTax & Duty Exemption\u00a0\u2014 Prepare, submit and track exemption applications with KRA, National Treasury and relevant Ministries
\n\tLogistics Partners Coordination\u00a0\u2014 Serve as the primary local interface; validate invoices, monitor clearance operations and escalate blocking points
\n\tShipment Tracking\u00a0\u2014 Maintain full visibility of all shipments from origin port\/airport to final delivery site; proactively manage demurrage and detention risks at Mombasa port
\n\tReporting & Regulatory Watch\u00a0\u2014 Deliver weekly status reports, maintain complete import records and PODs, and monitor KRA\/KEBS\/CA regulatory changes impacting the project<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
\tMinimum 5 years’ experience in supply chain logistics, customs clearance and import operations in Kenya
\n\tProven track record managing tax exemption processes with KRA and National Treasury
\n\tExperience coordinating with international freight forwarders on large-scale infrastructure or industrial projects
\n\tStrong knowledge of KRA iCMS platform, IDF procedures and Kenyan import regulations
\n\tPrior experience with telecom, energy or capital equipment projects is a strong advantage
\n\tExcellent communication skills in English; ability to work within international project teams
\n\tProficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)<\/p>\n
