We are now looking for a Replenishment Specialist to be based in Kenya.\u00a0<\/p>\n
In this role you will be responsible for ensuring optimal product availability at customer distribution centers and stores through data\u2011driven forecasting, proactive inventory management and strong collaboration between Customer, Demand & Supply Planning, Sales, and Physical Logistics. The role safeguards service levels, minimizes waste and drives continuous improvement across the replenishment and order\u2011to\u2011cash value stream.<\/p>\n
A day in the life of a\u00a0Replenishment Specialist:<\/p>\n
\u00a0Replenishment Planning & Inventory Optimization<\/p>\n
\tUtilize advanced forecasting and planning tools to develop optimal replenishment orders within Nestl\u00e9 or customer VMI\/CMI systems.
\n\tBalance service level, inventory targets, capacity constraints and customer delivery requirements. Monitor leading indicators such as system alerts, stock holding, and demand changes.
\n\tMaintain master data inputs including lead times, delivery windows, network flows and NPD introductions.<\/p>\n
\u00a0Out\u2011of\u2011Stock (OOS) Risk Management<\/p>\n
\tProactively identify OOS vulnerabilities through analytics on demand patterns, stock levels and forecast deviations.
\n\tLead the mitigation actions\u2014including dynamic stock allocation rules, prioritized customer replenishment, and cross\u2011functional escalation.
\n\tEnsure early and clear communication with all stakeholders including Sales, DSP, Physical Logistics and Customer.<\/p>\n
\u00a0Customer Collaboration & Issue Resolution<\/p>\n
\tAct as the key operational contact for VMI\/CMI customers on stock\u2011related issues.
\n\tProvide timely visibility to customers regarding supply risks, recovery plans and stock movements.
\n\tPartner with customer teams to optimize DC\u2011to\u2011store performance and reduce stock losses.<\/p>\n
\u00a0\u00a0Exception & Order Fulfilment Management<\/p>\n
\tCollaborate with CSA teams in resolving exceptions such as load optimization, carrier selection, credit blocks, delivery delays and appointment constraints.
\n\tLead root\u2011cause identification and long\u2011term corrective actions to minimize recurrence.
\n\tSupport accurate and timely order fulfilment aligned to OTIF and COF metrics.<\/p>\n
\u00a0 Billing, Returns, Claims & Deductions Management<\/p>\n
\tSupport CSA in proforma invoice creation, billing corrections, and exception resolution.
\n\tGuide mitigation for product refusals to minimize financial impact while maintaining customer goodwill.
\n\tEnsure claims\/deductions are validated and processed within SLA to protect customer experience and financial accuracy<\/p>\n
\u00a0Continuous Improvement & Digital Enablement<\/p>\n
\tIdentify process gaps and improvement opportunities across replenishment, forecasting, order processing, and exception management.
\n\tPromote automation, data\u2011driven decision\u2011making and system enhancements.
\n\tParticipate in market or regional projects related to SC optimization, VMI upgrades or analytics.<\/p>\n
What will make you successful?<\/p>\n
\tDegree in Economics, Business and General Science related
\n\t4-5 years of preferably operational experience in order fulfillment type of role in a similar market environment or trade structure.
\n\tOperational experience in the following areas is beneficial:
\n\t\u00a0Working for or with a customer in a collaborative environment
\n\t\u00a0Working in other Supply Chain functions such as Physical Logistics or Sales support Experience in related business improvement projects
\n\tGood Knowledge about Generating Demand, Supply Chain and Finance process for pricing
\n\tUnderstanding of Logistics processes including Materials Handling
\n\tBasic understanding of the O2C flow and key business functions outside of the O2C stream<\/p>\n
