\n\tAdvise managers on HR practices, policies, and procedures to strengthen business partnering.
\n\tProvide oversight of IR and ER matters, ensuring compliance and fair labour practices.
\n\tSupport career development, talent management, and succession planning processes.
\n\tFacilitate performance management processes.
\n\tDrive diversity, transformation, and employment equity initiatives.
\n\tCoordinate remuneration processes (grading, salary reviews, promotions) ensuring compliance with BAT policies.
\n\tAssist in embedding HR common platforms and best practices.
\n\tParticipate in HR projects impacting assigned function\/market.
\n\tManage disciplinary hearings and ensure procedural fairness.
\n\tConduct skills and capability gap analysis and support interventions.

\n\tLiaise with trade unions and employee representatives to foster effective relationships.
\n\tReview HR policies and recommend improvements to support the \u201cBest Employer\u201d journey.

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE<\/p>\n
ESSENTIAL<\/p>\n
\tHR degree or equivalent.
\n\tStrong knowledge of HR best practices, HR business partnering, and labour legislation (Kenya\/SSA).
\n\tExcellent communication, coaching, negotiation, and influencing skills.
\n\tStrong analytical and problem-solving capability.
\n\tMinimum 7\u201310 years in HR with exposure to resourcing, IR\/ER, organisational development, HR service delivery, remuneration, and benefits.<\/p>\n
