The HR Manager will lead the Human Resources function and report directly to the Director. This role is part of the Management Committee and will be responsible for both strategic and operational HR, with a strong focus on business partnering and data-driven decision-making.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Leadership & HR Operations<\/p>\n
\tLead the HR function for a workforce of 500+ employees across Sales, Manufacturing, Logistics, Finance, IT, and support functions, managing a team of 5
\n\tDefine, implement, and continuously improve HR policies, processes, and systems
\n\tEnsure seamless HR operations across multiple locations (Mombasa plant and Nairobi HQ)
\n\tAct as a strategic HR partner to leadership, contributing to key business and management discussions<\/p>\n
HR Analytics & Business Partnering<\/p>\n
\tAnalyze HR and business KPIs such as productivity, manpower cost, attrition, absenteeism, overtime, hiring funnel, and training ROI
\n\tDevelop HR dashboards and provide insights on organizational structure, workforce planning, and performance
\n\tSupport strategic decisions (capacity expansion, restructuring, incentives, new product lines) using workforce analytics<\/p>\n
Talent Management & Development<\/p>\n
\tOwn end-to-end talent management: workforce planning, hiring, employer branding, onboarding
\n\tDrive performance management cycles, goal setting, and feedback culture
\n\tDesign and implement L&D and leadership development programs for both white- and blue-collar workforce
\n\tBuild succession plans and internal talent pipelines<\/p>\n
Compensation, Compliance & Employee Relations<\/p>\n
\tOversee compensation & benefits, grading structures, and HR budgets
\n\tManage annual salary and bonus review cycles
\n\tEnsure compliance with Kenyan labor laws and statutory requirements
\n\tLead employee relations, grievance handling, and disciplinary processes
\n\tDrive employee engagement, culture, internal communication, and change management initiatives<\/p>\n
Key Requirements:<\/p>\n
\t7\u201310 years of total HR experience, with at least 3\u20135 years in the manufacturing sector
\n\tStrong expertise in Performance Management Systems (PMS), Talent Management, and HR Analytics
\n\tExposure to both manufacturing and corporate\/shared services environments is preferred
\n\tProven ability in HR business partnering with a strong understanding of business and financial metrics (P&L exposure mandatory)
\n\tAbility to translate data into actionable insights for business growth<\/p>\n
