You will work closely with County and Sub-County Health Records and Information Teams, Community Health Focal Persons, and Living Goods field teams to ensure data is accurate, timely, and used for decision-making.<br \/>\n\tYou will also support learning, research, and evaluation efforts, conduct data quality assessments, and document insights that inform program adaptation and policy influence.<\/p>\n<p>Key Responsibilities:<br \/>\nTechnical Assistance &amp; eCHIS Strengthening<\/p>\n<p>\tProvide hands-on technical support to county and sub-county health teams to optimize eCHIS usage, troubleshoot challenges, and improve data entry quality.<br \/>\n\tSupport onboarding, mentorship, and periodic capacity-building for CHWs, Supervisors, and Sub-County health staff on eCHIS workflows and data use.<br \/>\n\tFacilitate\u00a0monthly and quarterly data review and performance improvement meetings\u00a0at county and sub-county levels.<\/p>\n<p>Monitoring, Evaluation &amp; Reporting<\/p>\n<p>\tSupport implementation of MEL frameworks and indicator tracking tools aligned with national community health systems.<br \/>\n\tLead routine data collection, validation, cleaning, and analysis to support performance monitoring.<br \/>\n\tPrepare\u00a0monthly KPI dashboards, performance summaries, and reports\u00a0for county government and Living Goods program teams.<\/p>\n<p>Data Quality &amp; Evidence Generation<\/p>\n<p>\tConduct\u00a0Data Quality Audits (DQAs)\u00a0jointly with County Health Records Teams and support follow-up on improvement action plans.<br \/>\n\tEnsure data completeness, accuracy, timeliness, and consistency across eCHIS, DHIS2, and program datasets.<br \/>\n\tSupport implementation of research studies, learning initiatives, and evaluation activities as guided by the Country MERL Manager.<br \/>\n\tDocument learnings, success stories, and insights to inform county-level and organization-wide learning.<\/p>\n<p>Capacity Strengthening &amp; Knowledge Sharing<\/p>\n<p>\tTrain and mentor county and sub-county managers on data visualization, interpretation, and use for supervision and planning.<br \/>\n\tStrengthen MEL, analytics, and data literacy skills among health management teams.<br \/>\n\tPromote a culture of continuous improvement and evidence-based decision-making.<\/p>\n<p>Collaboration &amp; Representation<\/p>\n<p>\tWork closely with Living Goods program delivery teams to ensure alignment of MEL processes with implementation.<br \/>\n\tRepresent Living Goods in county-level MEL, Community Health, and Digital Health coordination forums where required.<br \/>\n\tSupport MEL components of government-led collaborative initiatives and Living Goods-supported pilots.<\/p>\n<p>Qualifications:<\/p>\n<p>\tBachelor\u2019s degree in Monitoring &amp; Evaluation, Public Health, Statistics, Data Science, Epidemiology, Health Records &amp; Information Management, or a related field.<br \/>\n\tMinimum of\u00a03 years\u2019 experience\u00a0in MEL within public health, community health, or health systems strengthening programs.<br \/>\n\tStrong familiarity with the Kenyan health system and experience working with County Health Management Teams.<br \/>\n\tProficiency in DHIS2, eCHIS, or similar health information systems is\u00a0highly preferred.<br \/>\n\tStrong skills in Excel and at least one analytics or visualization tool (Power BI, Stata, SPSS, R or Python).<br \/>\n\tDemonstrated experience facilitating data review meetings or training workshops.<br \/>\n\tStrong interpersonal, communication, and report writing skills.<br \/>\n\tAbility to work independently, collaboratively, and proactively in a decentralized environment.<br \/>\n\tWillingness to travel frequently within assigned counties.<\/p>\n<p>Apply Through:<\/p>\n<p>livinggoods.applytojob.com<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_promoted":"","_job_location":"","_application":"http:\/\/livinggoods.applytojob.com","_company_name":"Living Goods","_company_website":"http:\/\/www.livinggoods.org\/","_company_tagline":"At Living Goods we empower people to improve the health of their families, friends and communities.
