The Mechanical Procurement Engineer is responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and procuring mechanical equipment, materials, and services required for projects and operations.\u00a0
\n\tReview and interpret mechanical engineering drawings, specifications, and material requisitions.
\n\tIdentify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on technical capability, cost, quality, and delivery performance.
\n\tPrepare and issue RFQs (Requests for Quotation) and analyze vendor proposals.
\n\tConduct technical and commercial bid evaluations in coordination with engineering and project teams.
\n\tNegotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers.
\n\tEnsure procured items comply with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
\n\tCoordinate with vendors for technical clarifications, inspections, and documentation.
\n\tMonitor order progress and ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
\n\tResolve procurement-related issues such as delays, non-conformance, and quality concerns.
\n\tBachelor\u2019s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
\n\t3\u20137 years of experience in procurement, preferably in mechanical and HVAC projects.
\n\tStrong understanding of mechanical & HVAC systems, materials, and equipment.
\n\tExperience with vendor management and contract negotiation.
\n\tFamiliarity with ERP systems is an advantage.<\/p>\n
