Tatu City is looking to hire a qualified and experienced driver and Courier responsible for operating company vehicles to support transportation and courier functions. This role ensures the safe, timely, and accurate delivery and collection of items, documents, and personnel while maintaining high standards of vehicle care and professional conduct.<\/p>\n
\tResponsible for driving and operating the company\u2019s variety of vehicles such as cars, vans and trucks and carrying out courier functions
\n\tDeliver and collect items and documentation, ensuring accurate records of requests, recipients, and obtaining proper signatures.
\n\tAssisting with loading and unloading luggage and materials.
\n\tKeep assigned vehicle clean, damage free and in sound mechanical condition prior to use.
\n\tMaintain an excellent driving record maintain professional and appropriate appearance.
\n\tOperate vehicle safely and responsibly as assigned.
\n\tPerform assigned tasks independently and follow management directives without supervision.
\n\tTransport senior management, colleagues and other individuals as directed in a safe and responsible manner.
\n\tKeeping track of road conditions and recommend optimal routes to avoid delays.
\n\tComplete all other tasks assigned.<\/p>\n

Skills and Experience<\/p>\n
\tMust hold a\u00a0Kenya NTSA Class BCE License\u00a0(authorizing operation of cars, vans, trucks, and buses).
\n\tDefensive Driving Certification:\u00a0Mandatory, with demonstrated ability to apply safe driving practices in diverse traffic and road conditions.
\n\tExperience:\u00a0Minimum of\u00a07\u201310 years of professional driving experience, including handling both light and heavy vehicles.
\n\tClean Driving Record:\u00a0No history of major traffic violations, accidents, or reckless driving.
\n\tVehicle Knowledge:\u00a0Ability to conduct routine mechanical checks and ensure vehicles remain in safe, roadworthy condition.
\n\tProfessional Conduct:\u00a0Courteous, reliable, and presentable when transporting staff, senior management, and external stakeholders.
\n\tRoute Planning Skills:\u00a0Strong knowledge of Nairobi and Kiambu road networks, with the ability to recommend optimal routes and avoid traffic congestion.
\n\tPhysical Capability:\u00a0Able to assist with loading\/unloading luggage and materials when required.
\n\tIndependence & Reliability:\u00a0Capable of working with minimal supervision while meeting schedules and deadlines.
\n\tCommunication Skills:\u00a0Must be fluent in English, must be computer literate to enable basic reporting, accurate documentation of deliveries\/pickups, and effective coordination with management.<\/p>\n
