About the Role<\/p>\n
At Zeraki, we believe in nurturing technical talent early and intentionally. Our Software Engineering Internship Program is a paid, full-time, 3-month experience designed for ambitious students who want to work on real-world problems, contribute to production systems, and grow rapidly in a high-performance environment.<\/p>\n
As an intern, you won\u2019t just observe\u2014you\u2019ll build, ship, and learn alongside experienced engineers, contributing to products used by millions of users across the continent.<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
What You\u2019ll Do<\/p>\n
\tDesign, build, and maintain backend or frontend features in real production systems
\n\tCollaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver high-quality solutions
\n\tWrite clean, efficient, and maintainable code
\n\tParticipate in code reviews and technical discussions
\n\tDebug, test, and optimize applications for performance and scalability
\n\tContribute to internal tools, automation, or platform improvements
\n\tLearn and apply best practices in software engineering, including system design and testing<\/p>\n
What We\u2019re Looking For<\/p>\n
\tStrong foundational knowledge in computer science and software development
\n\tExperience with at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, etc.)
\n\tFamiliarity with basic software engineering concepts (e.g., APIs, databases, version control)
\n\tStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
\n\tAbility to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced environment
\n\tExcellent communication and collaboration skills
\n\tA genuine passion for building technology that creates real-world impact<\/p>\n
Eligibility Requirements<\/p>\n
\tCurrently enrolled in a Bachelor\u2019s degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
\n\tBe in your 3rd, 4th, or 5th year of study
\n\tMust be returning to school to finish your course after the internship
\n\tAvailable full-time for the entire 3-month program duration
\n\tAble to commit fully to the internship for 3 months (non-extendable)
\n\tApply for only one intake per calendar year<\/p>\n
