Our client is seeking a Sales Associate to support customer acquisition and revenue growth by actively selling FMCG products to hospitality and convenience retail businesses. The role involves prospecting for new customers, executing field sales activities, managing the full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure, and ensuring smooth onboarding of new clients while maintaining strong customer relationships.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tIdentify and acquire new B2B customers within the hospitality and convenience retail sectors
\n\tConduct field sales visits to prospect, pitch, and close new business
\n\tActively generate leads through cold calling, referrals, networking, and market visits
\n\tPresent product offerings, pricing structures, and value propositions to prospective clients
\n\tNegotiate terms and close sales agreements in line with company guidelines
\n\tMaintain accurate customer and sales records using CRM and reporting tools
\n\tCoordinate with internal teams to ensure timely onboarding and activation of new customers
\n\tTrack sales performance against targets and submit regular sales activity reports
\n\tCollect and share market feedback on competitor pricing, product availability, and customer needs<\/p>\n
Qualifications, Experience & Skills<\/p>\n
\t2\u20134 years\u2019 experience in sales or business development, preferably within FMCG distribution
\n\tProven experience in B2B sales, customer acquisition, and deal closure
\n\tPrior exposure to the hospitality or convenience retail sector is an added advantage
\n\tStrong negotiation, persuasion, and closing skills
\n\tExcellent verbal and written communication skills
\n\tAbility to manage the full sales cycle independently
\n\tExperience using CRM systems and basic sales reporting tools
\n\tStrong organizational and time management skills
\n\tSelf-driven, target-oriented, and comfortable working in a field sales environment<\/p>\n
