The role focuses on market penetration, client acquisition, relationship management, and bid participation, while ensuring compliance with Retirement Benefits Authority (RBA) guidelines and NSSF Tier II requirements.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Key responsibilities:\u00a0<br \/>\nSales &amp; Client Acquisition\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\tIdentify, prospect, and acquire new clients and corporate pension schemes for segregated funds and Umbrella Fund Segregated solutions.\u00a0<br \/>\n\tDevelop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with trustees, HR managers, employers, and high-net-worth individuals.\u00a0<br \/>\n\tPresent proposals, pitches, and solutions to clients and decision-makers.\u00a0<br \/>\n\tDrive revenue growth by achieving set sales targets and market share expansion.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Segregated Business &amp; Umbrella Fund Onboarding\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\tGuide corporates and individuals through the onboarding process into segregated schemes.\u00a0<br \/>\n\tSupport client migration and compliance with NSSF Tier II contributions, ensuring alignment with statutory requirements.\u00a0<br \/>\n\tCollaborate with fund managers, administrators, and trustees to deliver seamless onboarding and service delivery.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Tenders &amp; Institutional Business\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\tMonitor and track tender opportunities in pensions and asset management.\u00a0<br \/>\n\tPrepare, compile, and submit high-quality tender documents in compliance with requirements.\u00a0<br \/>\n\tCoordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of tender submissions.\u00a0<br \/>\n\tBuild networks with procurement officers and institutional stakeholders to position the company competitively.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Market Analysis &amp; Strategy\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\tConduct continuous market research to identify emerging pension and asset management opportunities.\u00a0<br \/>\n\tMonitor competitive trends and provide insights for product positioning and business growth.\u00a0<br \/>\n\tDevelop and implement strategies to penetrate retail, salaried, and institutional segments.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Product Development &amp; Promotion\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\tWork with product and investment teams to design, develop, and promote pension and investment products.\u00a0<br \/>\n\tCreate innovative solutions to diversify revenue streams in the segregated fund space.\u00a0<br \/>\n\tPartner with marketing teams to develop promotional campaigns and client education initiatives.\u00a0<br \/>\n\tGrowth in segregated fund Assets Under Management (AUM).\u00a0<br \/>\n\tNumber of new Umbrella Fund Segregated clients onboarded.\u00a0<br \/>\n\tSuccess rate in tender submissions and institutional business acquisition.\u00a0<br \/>\n\tAchievement of annual sales and revenue targets.\u00a0<br \/>\n\tClient satisfaction and retention levels.\u00a0<br \/>\n\tCompliance with RBA and NSSF Tier II regulations.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Knowledge, experience and qualifications required:<\/p>\n<p>\tBachelor\u2019s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Actuarial Science, or related field.\u00a0<br \/>\n\tProfessional qualifications such as CISI, CFA, or pensions\/retirement certification will be an added advantage.\u00a0<br \/>\n\tMinimum 3\u20135 years\u2019 experience in business development within pensions, asset management, or financial services.\u00a0<br \/>\n\tExperience in tender preparation, submission, and institutional business acquisition.\u00a0<br \/>\n\tDemonstrated track record in acquiring and managing corporate pension schemes and segregated business.<\/p>\n<p>Technical\/ Functional competencies\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\tKnowledge of investment classes.\u00a0<br \/>\n\tCustomer, market and competitor understanding.\u00a0<br \/>\n\tEffective negotiation skills.\u00a0<br \/>\n\tExcellent organizational and analytical skills\u00a0<br \/>\n\tReport writing skills.<\/p>\n<p>go to method of application \u00bb<\/p>\n<p>Use the link(s) below to apply on company website. \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Apply Through:<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_promoted":"","_job_location":"","_application":"","_company_name":"Britam","_company_website":"https:\/\/www.britam.com","_company_tagline":"Britam is a leading diversified financial services group, listed on the Nairobi Securities Exchange.
