Strategic Leadership<\/p>\n
\tDevelop and implement a risk-based internal audit strategy and annual audit plan aligned to business priorities.
\n\tProvide independent assurance to the Board Audit Committee on governance and control effectiveness.
\n\tAdvise leadership on emerging risks, control gaps, and best practices.
\n\tDrive modernization of the audit function, including data-driven and technology-enabled auditing.<\/p>\n
Audit Execution & Assurance<\/p>\n
\tOversee execution of the approved audit plan, ensuring quality and timeliness.
\n\tLead audits across financial, operational, and IT environments.
\n\tConduct investigations and special audits as required.
\n\tRecommend practical improvements to strengthen controls and efficiency.<\/p>\n
\u00a0Stakeholder Management & Reporting<\/p>\n
\tPresent audit findings and insights to the Managing Director and Board Audit Committee.
\n\tPrepare periodic reports highlighting key risks and recommendations.
\n\tBuild strong relationships with regulators, external auditors, and internal stakeholders.
\n\tSafeguard the independence and integrity of the audit function.<\/p>\n

Minimum Requirements:<\/p>\n
\tBachelor\u2019s Degree in Accounting or Finance
\n\tMaster\u2019s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Strategy, or related field \u00a0is an added advantage.
\n\tProfessional certifications: CPAK, CIA, CISA (mandatory)\u00a0
\n\tMinimum 12 years\u2019 experience in audit within the financial services sector
\n\tProven leadership experience in a senior audit role
\n\tMembership with ICPAK and Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA)<\/p>\n
