Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tLead BD Coordination & Technical Support
\n\tSupport core admin and technical BD functions for Country Programs, Global BD Team, and IPA HQ.\u00a0
\n\tProvide proposal development support and advice to Country Directors and BD staff. Set proposal timelines, lead coordination with partners and donors, create compliance matrices, develop application templates, review\/package\/submit applications.\u00a0
\n\tComplete due diligence documents and develop budget summaries.\u00a0
\n\tOversee Salesforce data entry.
\n\tTargeted, Strategic Proposal & BD Support
\n\tWrite, edit, and format grant proposal sections; adapt past proposals for new donors; draft EOIs. Provide guidance on BD opportunities (eligibility, matching projects to opportunities, winning themes).\u00a0
\n\tFacilitate proposal development meetings with partners, PIs, and Country Office staff. Lead coordination of IPA-led, sector, multi-country, and large\/strategic proposals.\u00a0
\n\tSupport select country offices to strengthen their pipeline and BD strategies.
\n\tOrganizational BD Support – Funding Opportunities & Donor Coordination\u00a0
\n\tResearch potential funding opportunities globally; log PFOs in Salesforce; coordinate dissemination of key info on upcoming calls.\u00a0
\n\tMaintain a major donor list and coordinate BD team review assignments. Complete donor guidelines, compile feedback, and update Salesforce\/Box records.\u00a0
\n\tLiaise with donors on clarification questions regarding funding opportunities and RFPs.
\n\tCapacity Building, Resource Development & Communication
\n\tProvide PD training to Country Offices and Global teams.\u00a0
\n\tExpand and improve IPA’s proposal development resources, information management, and stock language.\u00a0
\n\tDevelop Salesforce guidelines, proposal resources on Box, country office checklists, and global helpdesk. Review and share project development inquiries same-day. Create and distribute monthly partner funding emails on open and upcoming calls.<\/p>\n
Qualifications<\/p>\n
\tAssociate: Masters or Bachelors with 1-3 yrs experience; Sr. Associate: 4+ yrs related experience
\n\tMasters preferred. Degree in economics, international relations, political science, or related field.\u00a0
\n\tExcellent verbal\/written communication and ability to produce high-quality documents under tight deadlines.\u00a0
\n\tFamiliarity with RCTs. Knowledge of international development donors.\u00a0
\n\tAbility to work independently, manage competing deadlines.\u00a0
\n\tDetail-oriented, organized, analytical.\u00a0
\n\tEnglish fluency required.
\n\tPrevious experience with Salesforce.com.\u00a0
\n\tExpertise in randomized control trial methodology.\u00a0
\n\tExperience developing and managing large budgets for field work in developing countries.\u00a0
\n\tSense of humor and ability to make positive contributions to a team.<\/p>\n
