resolve any outstanding issues and set clear communication cadences.<br \/>\n\tWork with the Director of Sales to design and roll out a scalable partner onboarding and training framework for sales staff at merchant shops<br \/>\n\tMake assessment of the sales and ops junior team members and train them up<\/p>\n<p>Beyond 3 months focus<\/p>\n<p>\tBeyond the first three months, the Sales and Operations Manager Partners will shift from foundation-building to scaling and optimisation \u2014 growing the partner network, driving sales culture, and embedding data-driven performance management.<\/p>\n<p>Focus areas after month three may include:<\/p>\n<p>\tAggressively expand the number of active merchant partners across Nairobi and target regions, in line with MoPhones\u2019 growth ambitions.<br \/>\n\tRecruitment and development of Sales Account Managers responsible for partner operational management; build a high-performance field sales team culture.<br \/>\n\tDrive cross-departmental process improvements with Credit, Product, and CX teams to streamline the partner experience and improve sales conversion and device financing uptake.<\/p>\n<p>Success Metrics (KPIs)<\/p>\n<p>\tThe Sales and Operations Manager Partners will be measured against these success metrics:<br \/>\n\tPartner Growth &amp; Sales Performance<br \/>\n\tNumber of active merchant partners (MoM growth target to be set with Director of Operations)<br \/>\n\tSales revenue generated through partner network vs. target<br \/>\n\tPartner retention rate (% of partners active after 90 days)<br \/>\n\tOperational Excellence &amp; Team Development<br \/>\n\t\u00a0Partner onboarding time (days from signing to first sale)<br \/>\n\tSales team performance metrics \u2014 quota attainment per Account Manager<br \/>\n\tPartner satisfaction \/ NPS score (collected via structured check-ins or surveys)<\/p>\n<p>What we are looking for<\/p>\n<p>\tAt least 5 years\u2019 management experience in sales and account management, preferably in telecommunications, retail, or IT.<br \/>\n\t\u00a0Experience and an existing network in the mobile phone merchant industry in Kenya.<br \/>\n\tStrong sales and marketing skills with a proven focus on closing deals and driving revenue through indirect channels.<br \/>\n\tData-savvy \u2014 comfortable building your own reports, tracking partner metrics, and making data-driven decisions.<br \/>\n\tHigh ownership and follow-through;
