Responsibilities:
\nSME Client Acquisition & Lending Growth<\/p>\n
\tDrive acquisition and onboarding of SME and MSME clients.
\n\tDeliver SME and MSME lending disbursement targets.
\n\tBuild and manage a strong pipeline and improve conversion rates.<\/p>\n
Portfolio Productivity & Revenue Optimisation<\/p>\n
\tManage average loan size and yield to ensure profitability.
\n\tDrive utilisation of approved credit limits.
\n\tEnsure sustainable and quality growth of the SME loan book.<\/p>\n
Deposits Mobilisation & Liability Growth<\/p>\n
\tDeliver net deposit growth targets across SME customers.
\n\tIncrease proportion of low-cost deposits (CASA).
\n\tOptimise cost of funds on SME deposits.
\n\tDrive fee income from SME transactional banking activities.<\/p>\n
Portfolio Quality & Risk Management<\/p>\n
\tMaintain portfolio quality within acceptable thresholds.
\n\tEnsure early identification and resolution of arrears.
\n\tUphold strong credit underwriting, monitoring, and reporting standards.
\n\tEnsure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.<\/p>\n
Market Intelligence & Business Strategy<\/p>\n
\tMonitor SME market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity.
\n\tProvide input into product development and commercial strategy.<\/p>\n
Sales Leadership & Team Management<\/p>\n
\tLead SME sales teams to achieve aggregated targets.
\n\tDrive staff productivity (business per staff).
\n\tConduct performance management, coaching, and development.
\n\tMaintain acceptable attrition levels and succession planning.<\/p>\n
Qualifications & Experience<\/p>\n
\tBachelor\u2019s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field
\n\tMaster\u2019s degree is an added advantage
\n\tMinimum 7\u201310 years\u2019 experience in SME banking or business development
\n\tProven track record in lending, sales, and portfolio management
\n\tExperience managing and leading sales teams<\/p>\n
