Job Description<\/p>\n
Technical Operations & Maintenance<\/p>\n
\tSupervise daily operations and ensure preventive and corrective maintenance is carried out on all hotel facilities: electrical systems, HVAC, plumbing, elevators, hot\/cold water systems, kitchen equipment, etc.
\n\tEnsure all systems are functioning efficiently and comply with safety standards.
\n\tRespond promptly to emergency repair situations.<\/p>\n
Staff Supervision<\/p>\n
\tCreate and manage work schedules for engineering technicians.
\n\tTrain, guide, and support team members in technical procedures and safety protocols.
\n\tMonitor and evaluate technician performance regularly.<\/p>\n
Documentation & Reporting<\/p>\n
\tMaintain daily logbooks, maintenance reports, and technical checklists.
\n\tReport all completed tasks, pending issues, and critical incidents to the Chief Engineer.
\n\tMonitor and manage inventory of tools, equipment, and spare parts.<\/p>\n
Safety & Compliance<\/p>\n
\tEnforce occupational health and safety (OHS) regulations in the engineering department.
\n\tConduct regular checks on fire safety systems, generators, and emergency power systems.
\n\tCoordinate with other departments during breakdowns or technical issues.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Qualifications<\/p>\n
\tDegree or Diploma in Engineering\u00a0or related field
\n\tMinimum 3 years of experience in facilities management, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role
\n\tStrong knowledge of electrical systems, HVAC, plumbing, generators, and kitchen equipment; ability to read technical drawings and schematics
\n\tExcellent leadership, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
\n\tKnowledge of local building codes, safety regulations, and energy conservation practices
\n\tStrong organizational skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite<\/p>\n
