This role goes beyond traditional HR administration and requires a commercially minded HR professional who understands business operations, workforce productivity, and organizational performance. The role will take full ownership of HR within operations, strengthening internal controls, driving performance management, managing disciplinary processes, and ensuring operational efficiency and safety compliance across multiple teams.<\/p>\n<p>Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n<p>HR Business Partnering &amp; Strategic Support<\/p>\n<p>\tPartner with Operations leadership to align workforce strategy with business objectives and operational targets.<br \/>\n\tProvide proactive HR advisory support on organizational structure, manpower planning, and productivity optimization.<br \/>\n\tParticipate in operational meetings to provide people insights supporting business decision- making.<br \/>\n\tTranslate business needs into HR interventions that improve performance, engagement, and efficiency.<br \/>\n\tAct as a trusted advisor to line managers on all people management matters.<\/p>\n<p>Performance Management &amp; Organizational Effectiveness<\/p>\n<p>\tLead implementation and continuous improvement of the performance management framework.<br \/>\n\tSupport the development of KPIs aligned to operational goals and departmental deliverables.<br \/>\n\tGuide managers in performance reviews, performance improvement plans (PIPs), and capability development.<br \/>\n\tMonitor performance trends and provide HR analytics to support leadership decisions.<br \/>\n\tDrive a high-performance and accountability culture across operations.<\/p>\n<p>Employee Relations &amp; Disciplinary Management<\/p>\n<p>\tManage complex employee relations matters, including grievances, investigations, disciplinary hearings, and conflict resolution.<br \/>\n\tEnsure disciplinary processes comply fully with Kenyan labour laws and procedural fairness requirements.<br \/>\n\tProvide coaching to managers on handling misconduct, performance concerns, and workplace conflict.<br \/>\n\tMaintain proper documentation and audit-ready disciplinary records.<\/p>\n<p>HR Operations &amp; Internal Controls<\/p>\n<p>\tOversee full HR lifecycle management, including recruitment, onboarding, confirmation, transfers, and exits.<br \/>\n\tDevelop, review, and enforce HR policies, SOPs, and internal HR controls.<br \/>\n\tStrengthen HR governance structures to minimize operational risk and ensure compliance.<br \/>\n\tEnsure accurate HR documentation, employee records management, and statutory compliance.<\/p>\n<p>Workforce Planning &amp; Talent Management<\/p>\n<p>\tSupport workforce planning aligned to operational demand and business growth.<br \/>\n\tIdentify skills gaps and recommend training and succession planning initiatives.<br \/>\n\tSupport onboarding and integration of new employees within operational teams.<br \/>\n\tDrive retention strategies and employee engagement initiatives.<\/p>\n<p>Compliance, Safety &amp; Risk Management<\/p>\n<p>\tEnsure adherence to Kenyan labour legislation and HR regulatory requirements.<br \/>\n\tSupport the implementation of occupational health and safety practices within operations.<br \/>\n\tIdentify HR-related operational risks and recommend mitigation strategies.<br \/>\n\tConduct HR audits and compliance reviews where necessary.<\/p>\n<p>HR Reporting &amp; Analytics<\/p>\n<p>\tPrepare and analyze HR metrics, including turnover, absenteeism, productivity indicators, and disciplinary trends.<br \/>\n\tProvide management with data-driven HR insights to support operational efficiency.<br \/>\n\tMaintain accurate HR dashboards and periodic HR reports.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0Leadership Coaching &amp; Culture Development<\/p>\n<p>\tCoach supervisors and operational managers on leadership effectiveness and people management practices.<br \/>\n\tDrive organizational culture aligned with accountability, efficiency, and performance excellence.<br \/>\n\tChampion employee engagement and change management initiatives.<\/p>\n<p>Minimum Qualifications &amp;
