We are seeking a mature, detail-oriented, and reliable Accountant with at least 3 years of experience to join our team in the construction sector. Job Description<\/p>\n
\tPrepare and maintain accurate financial records, reports, and statements
\n\tManage accounts payable and receivable
\n\tHandle bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow
\n\tPrepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
\n\tEnsure compliance with tax regulations, statutory deductions, and filings (VAT, PAYE, NSSF, NHIF, etc.)
\n\tSupport budgeting and forecasting processes
\n\tMonitor project costs and provide cost control insights (construction-specific)
\n\tAssist with audits and liaise with external auditors
\n\tMaintain proper documentation of financial transactions
\n\tEnsure compliance with company policies and financial procedures<\/p>\n
Job Requirements<\/p>\n
\tBachelor\u2019s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
\n\tMinimum of 3 years\u2019 experience in accounting (construction industry experience is an added advantage)
\n\tCPA (K) qualification or progress towards completion is preferred
\n\tStrong understanding of Kenyan tax laws and financial regulations
\n\tProficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar)
\n\tHigh level of integrity, maturity, and professionalism
\n\tStrong analytical and organizational skills<\/p>\n
