Lead branch operations to achieve growth in deposits and lending, ensure operational excellence, manage staff performance, and deliver superior customer service while safeguarding branch assets and maintaining regulatory compliance.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Business Growth & Financial Management<\/p>\n
\tDevelop and implement branch growth plans (deposits & lending).
\n\tAchieve revenue, profitability, and collection targets.
\n\tMaximize income streams and prevent revenue leakage.
\n\tPrepare, monitor, and manage branch budgets and costs.<\/p>\n
Operations & Compliance<\/p>\n
\tOversee daily branch operations including opening, closing, and security.
\n\tEnsure compliance with banking policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
\n\tAuthorize transactions, vouchers, and accounts within approval limits.
\n\tMaintain safe custody of vaults, cash, loan documents, and records.
\n\tSubmit accurate statutory and internal reports.<\/p>\n
Customer Experience<\/p>\n
\tEnsure high-quality customer service across all branch departments.
\n\tBuild and maintain strong client relationships.
\n\tResolve customer escalations and ensure service excellence.<\/p>\n
People Leadership<\/p>\n
\tLead, supervise, coach, and develop branch staff.
\n\tPromote a culture of integrity, accountability, and teamwork.<\/p>\n
Risk & Asset Protection<\/p>\n
\tSafeguard branch assets and implement internal controls.
\n\tAct as joint custodian of vaults and cash.
\n\tEnsure compliance with audit, risk, and governance standards.<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
Academic Qualifications<\/p>\n
\tBachelor\u2019s Degree in a business-related field (Banking & Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration\/Management)
\n\tMaster\u2019s Degree is an added advantage.
\n\tExperience in trade finance, business development, and client relationship management is mandatory.<\/p>\n
Experience<\/p>\n
\tMinimum 10+ years in banking and currently in the banking industry.
\n\tLeadership or Management Training is an advantage.
\n\tProven track record in branch performance, revenue growth, and staff management.<\/p>\n
