Job Summary<\/p>\n
\tPearl Hospital is a Level 4 multi-specialty hospital in Laikipia County. Guided by our values of Quality, Efficiency, Professionalism, and Compassion, we are seeking a cleaning company to maintain a clean, safe and hygienic hospital environment by following strict infection prevention and control standards.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tClean and sanitize hospital areas including wards, theatres, outpatient areas, offices, corridors and washrooms.
\n\tFollow infection prevention and control (IPC) guidelines at all times.
\n\tProperly handle and dispose of medical and non-medical waste according to hospital policy.
\n\tReplenish cleaning supplies.
\n\tUse cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and correctly.
\n\tRespond promptly to spills, especially biohazard spills.
\n\tMaintain confidentiality and respect patient privacy.
\n\tAdhere to hospital safety protocols, including use of PPE(Personal Protective Equipment)
\n\tDisinfect high-touch surfaces such as door handles, beds and equipment regularly.<\/p>\n
Minimum Qualifications<\/p>\n
\tPrevious cleaning experience, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting.
\n\tBasic knowledge of infection control practices is an added advantage
\n\tHigh level of integrity and professionalism<\/p>\n
