The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial records, preparing accurate financial reports and statements, managing day-to-day accounting operations, and ensuring full compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.<\/p>\n
Accountant responsibilities include:<\/p>\n
\tGather and monitor financial data (e.g. sales revenues and liabilities)
\n\tPrepare monthly, quarterly and annual statements (balance sheets and income statements)
\n\tForecast costs and revenues
\n\tManage tax payments
\n\tOrganize internal audits
\n\tPrepare budgets (for the entire company and by department)
\n\tMonitor and report on accounting discrepancies
\n\tPerform month-end and year-end close processes<\/p>\n
Requirements and skill<\/p>\n
\t+ 5 years\u2019 work experience as an Accountant or similar role
\n\tAdvanced knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software
\n\tIn-depth understanding of business bookkeeping procedures
\n\tSolid knowledge of accounting regulations
\n\tExcellent math skills with an attention to detail
\n\tTime-management abilities
\n\tConfidentiality
\n\tDegree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field
\n\tAdditional certification (e.g. CPA) is a plus<\/p>\n
