\n\tOversee research protocol and\u00a0evaluation plan development, with guidance from international research partners and country teams\u00a0
\n\tProvide\u00a0ongoing technical guidance to country teams through pilot launch and operation\u00a0
\n\tOversee\u00a0the PATH Kenya team in launching and\u00a0executing\u00a0business model pilots\u00a0in Kenya\u00a0
\n\tEngage relevant government and business stakeholders to\u00a0maintain\u00a0political buy-in\u00a0\u00a0
\n\tConduct preparatory activities such as\u00a0training\u00a0material development or\u00a0facility preparation\u00a0
\n\tDeliver tailored\u00a0technical\u00a0assistance\u00a0to\u00a0business model pilot firms, e.g.,\u00a0optimizing\u00a0service delivery efficiency, refining revenue streams,\u00a0and\u00a0preparing\u00a0financial models.\u00a0
\n\tOversee outcomes data collection as directed by research protocol\/evaluation plan\u00a0
\n\tCollaborate with PATH global and advocacy teams to scale up\u00a0promising INNOVATE\u00a0business model interventions across the East Africa region:\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0
\n\tEngage\u00a0investors and catalytic capital providers in\u00a0the\u00a0health\u00a0and\u00a0manufacturing\u00a0sectors.\u00a0\u00a0
\n\tDisseminate\u00a0business model study\u00a0findings\u00a0via\u00a0publications and\u00a0technical working groups.\u00a0
\n\tDevelop advocacy materials\u00a0showcasing\u00a0the cost\/health impact of\u00a0tested interventions.\u00a0
\n\tLead\u00a0broader\u00a0strategic engagement with\u00a0external stakeholders to\u00a0develop new business and\u00a0establish\u00a0PATH\u00a0thought leadership\u00a0in the market access space\u00a0
\n\tEngage\u00a0senior\u00a0officials\u00a0from the Ministry of Health (MOH) and other\u00a0ministries\u00a0to\u00a0build relationships and\u00a0identify\u00a0opportunities for PATH to support government\u00a0objectives.\u00a0\u00a0
\n\tBuild and\u00a0maintain\u00a0relationships\u00a0with\u00a0other relevant\u00a0local and regional\u00a0leaders and influencers (e.g., procurement agencies, professional organizations, regional\u00a0multilateral\u00a0bodies) to\u00a0establish\u00a0PATH as a thought leader in\u00a0key\u00a0market access\u00a0policy\/strategy areas.\u00a0
\n\tBuild and\u00a0maintain\u00a0Kenya\u2019s advocacy impact strategy for INNOVATE to understand and influence existing gaps in policy and financing prioritization for oxygen access.\u00a0
\n\tIdentify\u00a0and engage government, multilateral, and private funding sources to provide catalytic\/scale-up funding for successful technology and business model innovations.\u00a0
\n\tHelp develop new proposals, concept notes, and investment pitches by providing market shaping and market access technical inputs.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
Required Experience:\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tMaster\u2019s degree in business administration, economics, supply chain management, public policy, or similar degree\u00a0required, along with 10-15 years of work experience.\u00a0
\n\tSignificant business\u00a0expertise\u00a0with\u00a0demonstrated\u00a0experience in contract negotiation, budget oversight, and business strategy and operations.\u00a0
\n\tDemonstrated ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and work effectively within large consortia of other research and implementation partners.\u00a0
\n\tExcellent interpersonal, networking, and diplomacy skills;\u00a0demonstrated\u00a0fluency in navigating high-level engagements with senior leaders in government, multilateral, and donor agencies.\u00a0\u00a0
\n\tExperience managing in a flexible and changing environment, with ability to adjust plans and direction in response to local feedback and project iteration cycles.\u00a0
\n\tExcellent\u00a0written and oral communication skills;\u00a0demonstrated\u00a0ability to quickly develop compelling memos, concept notes, and presentation slides, and speak to them effectively.<\/p>\n
