We are recruiting Associate Internal Quality Assurers (IQAs) to support quality assurance activity across our Public Relations Communication Assistant standards. This role involves quality assuring assessment decisions,\u00a0feedback\u00a0and evidence to ensure assessments are fair, valid,\u00a0reliable\u00a0and consistent.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tInternally Quality Assure,\u00a0document assessor\u00a0competence against apprenticeship standards using stated assessment methods.\u00a0
\n\tCarry out and record\u00a0apprenticeship IQA\u00a0activities in line with AIM and regulatory requirements.\u00a0
\n\tSample assessment activity in line with AIM\u2019s risk\u00a0based IQA approach\u00a0
\n\tProvide clear, evidence based,\u00a0feedback to\u00a0associate assessors\u00a0on assessment decisions.\u00a0
\n\tComplete and\u00a0submit\u00a0reports within required timescales.\u00a0
\n\tInput into,\u00a0participate\u00a0and sometimes lead,\u00a0training and standardisation activities.\u00a0\u00a0
\n\tWork professionally as an associate,\u00a0maintaining\u00a0confidentiality and managing conflicts of interest.\u00a0
\n\tMaintain thorough knowledge of AIM\u00a0apprenticeship\u00a0policies and procedures.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Essential requirements:<\/p>\n
\tHold\u00a0a recognised\u00a0assessor qualification (e.g., CAVA, TAQA).\u00a0
\n\tHold, or be working towards, a recognised Internal Quality Assurance qualification (e.g\u00a0Level 4 in\u00a0Internal\u00a0Quality\u00a0Assurance)\u00a0
\n\tBe\u00a0occupationally qualified\u00a0in the subject area, at least one\u00a0level higher than the standard applying for, gained in the last 3 years, or\u00a0significant experience\u00a0in the occupation or sector.\u00a0
\n\tUnderstand the apprenticeship occupational standard and EPA plan.\u00a0
\n\tMinimum Level 2 English and Maths.\u00a0
\n\tBe independent with no conflict of interest (must not benefit or be disadvantaged by assessment outcomes)\u00a0
\n\tMaintain and\u00a0evidence\u00a0up-to-date occupational knowledge and\u00a0expertise.\u00a0
\n\tAttend induction and standardisation events: Before first EPA, when EPA is updated, and\u00a0on a\u00a06 month\u00a0basis.\u00a0\u00a0
\n\tComply with\u00a0all\u00a0Internal and external quality assurance\u00a0requirements.\u00a0
