AMI is hiring a highly driven and execution-focused\u00a0Project Lead\u00a0to lead the delivery of the CAYACC Program. This role will be responsible for translating program strategy into high-quality execution, ensuring strong coordination across partners, effective delivery on the ground, and robust monitoring, evaluation, and learning.<\/p>\n
The Project Lead will sit at the center of program implementation\u2014owning planning, delivery, stakeholder engagement, and performance tracking\u2014while working closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure impact at scale. This is a hands-on leadership role suited for someone who thrives in fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environments and is comfortable balancing strategy with execution.<\/p>\n
The ideal candidate is a strong program leader who combines structured thinking with hands-on execution. They are highly organized, data-driven, and able to manage complexity across multiple stakeholders and geographies. Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Program Strategy, Planning & Delivery<\/p>\n
\tLead the planning and execution of the CAYACC program, translating strategic objectives into clear workplans, timelines, and deliverables
\n\tEnsure high-quality implementation of program activities across regions, aligned to agreed priorities and outcomes
\n\tTrack program progress against targets, proactively identifying risks and driving corrective action<\/p>\n
Field Execution & Coordination<\/p>\n
\tOversee coordination of field activities across program locations, ensuring consistency, quality, and timely delivery
\n\tSupport implementation teams and partners in delivering program interventions effectively
\n\tMaintain visibility of field operations through structured check-ins, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms<\/p>\n
Partnership & Stakeholder Management<\/p>\n
\tManage relationships with key partners, including implementing organizations, technical partners, and ecosystem stakeholders
\n\tCoordinate joint planning and execution with partners, ensuring alignment on roles, expectations, and deliverables
\n\tRepresent the program in stakeholder engagements and external forums where required<\/p>\n
Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEL)<\/p>\n
\tDrive results-based management across the program, ensuring clear tracking of outputs, outcomes, and impact
\n\tOversee data collection, validation, and reporting processes to ensure accuracy and integrity
\n\tTranslate program insights into actionable improvements, fostering a culture of continuous learning and adaptation<\/p>\n
Performance Management & Accountability<\/p>\n
\tTrack delivery against program KPIs, budgets, and timelines
\n\tEstablish clear reporting structures and accountability mechanisms across teams and partners
\n\tLead regular performance reviews and ensure follow-through on actions and commitments<\/p>\n
Cross-Functional Collaboration<\/p>\n
\tWork closely with internal teams (programs, MEL, finance, operations) to ensure coordinated delivery and compliance
\n\tContribute to organizational learning, systems improvement, and program design enhancements.<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
\tBachelor\u2019s degree in Development Studies, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master\u2019s degree is an advantage)
\n\t6+ years of experience managing or coordinating development programs, preferably in youth, agriculture, climate, or entrepreneurship sectors
\n\tDemonstrated experience managing multi-stakeholder programs and partnerships
\n\tStrong experience in program planning, delivery, and monitoring
\n\tExperience working in regional or multi-country programs is an advantage<\/p>\n
