Job Description<\/p>\n
Content creation<\/p>\n
\tManage, create and publish social media and website content, including features, videos, infographics, podcasts, and other multimedia materials.
\n\tDesign social media templates for the dissemination of SEI publications, reports, media coverage, and other project outputs.
\n\tDevelop and implement the center’s social media calendar, aligning posts with SEI Africa communication goals.
\n\tAdapt reports and publications into compelling multi-media content such as documentaries, reels, social media cards, and other visual formats.
\n\tWrite scripts and manage end-to-end production of multi-media content, including videos, reels and podcasts,
\n\tCollaborate with Global Communications to ensure consistent messaging with SEI global platforms.<\/p>\n
Branding<\/p>\n
\tProduce branded materials, such as reports, flyers, posters, brochures, presentations, and infographics, in line with SEI visual identity guidelines.
\n\tEnsure on-brand implementation of visual identity guidelines across the organization.<\/p>\n
Capacity strengthening<\/p>\n
\tProvide guidance, tools, templates, and content to research teams to enhance coherence in messaging and brand.
\n\tSupport the delivery of digital and visual communication training for research teams for impact communications.<\/p>\n
Reporting<\/p>\n
\tPeriodically submit\/update reporting metrics on social media and website content to the Communications Specialist and Global Communications.
\n\tContribute to reporting on communications activities in the SEI Annual Results Report (ARR).<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
\tBachelor\u2019s degree in Digital Communications, Journalism, Graphic Design, Public Relations or related field.
\n\tAt least four (4) years of relevant experience in research, development, or policy-oriented organizations.<\/p>\n
