KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:<\/p>\n
Enterprise architecture & alignment<\/p>\n
\tShape architecture across multiple initiatives, products, and domains to ensure enterprise coherence
\n\tEnsure solution designs align with enterprise standards, target architectures, and transition roadmaps
\n\tIdentify cross-domain dependencies, systemic risks, and opportunities for reuse
\n\tContribute to the development and continuous evolution of enterprise standards and patterns (ownership at Principal Architect level)
\n\tMaintain and curate enterprise architecture views, inventories, and roadmap inputs within the EA repository
\n\tIdentify and prioritize architectural risk and technical debt reduction opportunities across initiatives
\n\tLead development of segment and enterprise architecture views in collaboration with the EA practice
\n\tAct as Solution Architect on exceptionally complex or strategic initiatives where required
\n\tMentor and guide Solution and Lead Architects to raise architectural maturity
\n\tContribute to refinement and application of ADS artefacts within EA governance cycles
\n\tBridge enterprise architectural direction with solution-level execution needs and mitigations
\n\tAct as a trusted architectural advisor to business and technology leaders
\n\tOperate as a generalist enterprise architect with depth across multiple BDAT domains<\/p>\n
Advisory & assurance<\/p>\n
\tProvide architectural input during idea shaping, business case development, and planning
\n\tReview solution architectures for enterprise alignment, risk, and long-term sustainability
\n\tMake architectural trade-offs, risks, and implications explicit to decision-makers
\n\tSupport resolution of architectural issues that span domains or teams<\/p>\n
Technical debt & transition<\/p>\n
\tIdentify and assess architectural risk and technical debt across initiatives
\n\tDevelop and maintain transition architectures (Now \u2192 Next \u2192 Later)
\n\tSupport prioritization of architectural improvements aligned to organizational strategy<\/p>\n

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND EXPERIENCE:<\/p>\n
Required Education, training, license, registration, and\/or Certification<\/p>\n
\tBachelor\u2019s or Master\u2019s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
\n\tTOGAF, OpenCA, or equivalent enterprise architecture certification is preferred but not required.<\/p>\n
Required Professional Experience<\/p>\n
Architectural and technical knowledge<\/p>\n
\tBroad understanding of enterprise technology landscapes, including applications, integration, data, cloud, and security
\n\tStrong knowledge of enterprise architecture principles, standards, and patterns at organizational scale
\n\tUnderstanding of how technology enables business capabilities and value streams
\n\tAbility to bridge architectural strategy with practical delivery execution through hands-on technical acumen
\n\tWorking knowledge of enterprise repositories and architecture artefacts (e.g., ADS views, roadmaps, transition architectures) sufficient to curate and assure quality and guide usage, not to perform administrative ownership<\/p>\n
Experience<\/p>\n
\tExperience shaping and assuring architecture across multiple initiatives, portfolios, or domains
\n\tExperience advising leaders on architectural trade-offs involving cost, risk, sustainability, and long-term outcomes
\n\tExperience identifying cross-domain dependencies, risks, and opportunities for reuse
\n\tExperience influencing stakeholders and contributing to governance and decision forums
\n\tExperience operating within enterprise architecture standards and governance frameworks<\/p>\n
ROLE BOUNDARIES & ESCALATION:<\/p>\n
\tThis role does not act as the final technical arbiter for enterprise-wide decisions
\n\tThis role does not have people management accountability
\n\tHigh-impact or unresolved architectural issues are escalated to the Principal Architect<\/p>\n
