Network Monitoring & Performance<\/p>\n
\tMonitor infrastructure using SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios, Zabbix, and proprietary tools like Cosmos.
\n\tAnalyze performance trends, bandwidth, latency, packet loss, and KPIs.
\n\tMaintain monitoring thresholds, alert policies, and SLA metrics.<\/p>\n
Incident & Problem Management<\/p>\n
\tRespond to alerts and outages within SLA timeframes.
\n\tPerform triage, diagnosis, and manage the incident lifecycle.
\n\tConduct root cause analysis and document lessons learned.
\n\tTrack trends and recommend preventive measures.<\/p>\n
Escalation Management<\/p>\n
\tAct as the primary escalation point for Tier 1 and Tier 2 support teams.
\n\tEscalate complex issues to Tier 4 engineers and specialized teams.
\n\tCoordinate vendor support and facilitate bridge calls during major incidents.
\n\tManage communication between technical teams, management, and stakeholders.<\/p>\n
Network Operations & Maintenance<\/p>\n
\tExecute firmware updates, patches, and configuration changes.
\n\tConfigure routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and wireless controllers.
\n\tImplement VLANs, access control policies, and VPN connections.
\n\tPerform change management and maintenance window activities.<\/p>\n
Troubleshooting & Support<\/p>\n
\tResolve issues across LAN, WAN, MPLS, SD-WAN, and wireless networks.
\n\tTroubleshoot routing\/switching (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, STP).
\n\tAnalyze traffic using Wireshark and tcpdump.
\n\tAddress DNS, DHCP, firewall, NAT, and VoIP issues.
\n\tHandle SSID requests, conference issues, and special requests.<\/p>\n
Field Technician Coordination<\/p>\n
\tCoordinate dispatches for PMS troubleshooting, WiFi site surveys, coverage analysis, and wireless optimization.
\n\tSupport third-party vendor troubleshooting (video, VoIP, conference room technology).
\n\tManage on-site troubleshooting activities and vendor escalations.<\/p>\n
Documentation & Collaboration<\/p>\n
\tMaintain network documentation, topology diagrams, and SOPs.
\n\tCreate post-incident and RCA reports.
\n\tParticipate in capacity planning and continuous improvement initiatives.
\n\tCollaborate with engineering, logistics, and vendors to integrate new technologies.<\/p>\n
Required Qualifications<\/p>\n
Technical Skills<\/p>\n
\tStrong knowledge of TCP\/IP, routing protocols, VLANs, QoS.
\n\tExperience with Cisco, Ruckus, Aruba\/HP, Meraki routers, switches, and wireless controllers.
\n\tFirewalls: Cisco ASA, Fortinet, Watchguard.
\n\tMonitoring tools: SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios, Zabbix, Cosmos.
\n\tWireshark, tcpdump, packet analysis.
\n\tVPN, SD-WAN, load balancers, wired and wireless networking.
\n\tFamiliarity with Property Management Systems (PMS) and hospitality technology (preferred).<\/p>\n
Certifications<\/p>\n
\tPreferred: CCNA, CCNP, Ruckus Certified, Aruba Certified, Meraki Certified, or other networking certifications (CompTIA Network+, CWNA, Fortinet NSE).<\/p>\n
Experience<\/p>\n
\t1+ years in network operations or NOC environment.
\n\tIncident management and escalation handling.
\n\tCoordination with field technicians and dispatch operations.<\/p>\n
