Job Purpose<\/p>\n
The Site Operations Coordinator (Boiler Operations and Maintenance) is responsible for coordinating and supervising day-to-day site operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant boiler operations and maintenance activities. The role acts as the primary site focal point between operators, technicians, contractors, head office, client and regulatory authorities to ensure high boiler availability, statutory compliance, and end-to-end boiler operations.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\u00a0Site Coordination & Team Supervision<\/p>\n
\tCoordinate daily activities of boiler operators, maintenance technicians, and contractors.
\n\tAllocate duties, monitor attendance, task execution, and site discipline.
\n\tConduct toolbox talks, safety briefings, and on-the-job coaching.
\n\tAct as the primary site liaison between operations, maintenance, and head office.<\/p>\n
Performance Monitoring & Reporting<\/p>\n
\tMonitor site KPIs including boiler uptime, maintenance completion, safety, fuel, water, and chemical consumption.
\n\tPrepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly operational and maintenance reports.
\n\tReview trends, deviations, and initiate corrective actions.
\n\tEscalate operational risks and non-conformities on time.<\/p>\n
\u00a0Boiler Operations & Compliance<\/p>\n
\tCoordinate and supervise daily boiler operations and monitoring.
\n\tEnsure boilers operate within approved safety and design parameters.
\n\tCoordinate statutory inspections, testing, certifications, and renewals.
\n\tMaintain boiler logs, water analysis records, and compliance documentation.
\n\tD. Safety, Health & Environment (SHE)
\n\tEnforce safety procedures, PTW systems, and LOTO protocols.
\n\tConduct routine risk assessments and safety inspections.
\n\tInvestigate incidents and near misses and implement corrective actions.
\n\tEnsure safe handling, storage, and disposal of fuels and chemicals.<\/p>\n
Maintenance Planning & Execution<\/p>\n
\tCoordinate preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.
\n\tSupervise breakdown response to minimize downtime.
\n\tEnsure availability of critical spares, tools, and consumables.
\n\tCoordinate mechanical and electrical maintenance works with technicians and contractors.<\/p>\n
Stakeholder Coordination<\/p>\n
\tLiaise with head office engineering and operations teams.
\n\tCoordinate with regulatory authorities, inspectors, and auditors.
\n\tManage vendors, suppliers, and service providers.
\n\tSupport commissioning, modifications, and system upgrades.<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
Qualifications & Experience<\/p>\n
\tDiploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electromechanical Engineering.
\n\tValid Boiler Operator Certificate as per regulatory requirements will be an added advantage.
\n\tMinimum 5 years\u2019 experience in industrial maintenance at supervisory or management<\/p>\n
