This role forms an integral part of the projects team and will be expected to perform the following responsibilities.<\/p>\n
Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tProject planning and scope definition.
\n\tDefinition of deliverables and timelines of consultants, contractors & suppliers.
\n\tProject resource planning and allocation.
\n\tCreate, monitor, and analyze project critical path and master schedules.
\n\tDevelop responsibility matrix and project RACI.
\n\tWeekly project tracking and progress reporting.
\n\tPrepare coordinated weekly updates of contractor & supplier performance.
\n\tEstablish and communicate project requirements to suppliers and contractors to meet Management expectations.
\n\tPrepare, implement, and monitor quality control plans and checklists of the project and facilitate the signing off of final acceptance between commissioning managers, design managers and contractors\/suppliers.
\n\tProvide technical oversight and guidance during project design, implementation, and commissioning phases.
\n\tTrack baselines, perform what-if analysis, and develop contingency plans.
\n\tDevelop project organogram and project escalation matrix.
\n\tEnsure effective communication and escalation lines to align and manage expectations.
\n\tProvide direction, guidance and support to the teams ensuring expectations and responsibilities are clear.
\n\tCreate and maintain project risk registers.
\n\tTracking program risks and opportunities that have financial implications and notifying the team to take required actions.
\n\tCreate and track project risks and opportunities and escalate as required for relevant actions.
\n\tReview and discuss any changes to schedules proposed for communication to and approval by Management.
\n\tBuild and maintain relationships with contractors &suppliers.
\n\tFacilitate effective communication and collaboration among project stakeholders, including contractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
\n\tIdentify opportunities for improvement and innovation to enhance schedule efficiency, effectiveness, and value for project delivery.
\n\tImplement best practices and industry standards to optimize project outcomes.<\/p>\n
Hard Skills<\/p>\n
\tMinimum of 10 years\u2019 experience in a technical project management role in Data center or relevant industry.
\n\tBachelor\u2019s degree in\u00a0 Mechanical, Electrical or related engineering field.
\n\tProject management certification PMP (PMI), Prince2, IPMA.
\n\tProficient in primavera P6 and MS project.<\/p>\n
