The Plating\/ Laboratory Chemist’s responsibilities include planning, implementing, Maintaining and managing procedures to optimize the Electroplating process. He \/ She will also be responsible for Lab management, bath maintenance, offering technical advice on chemical and lab\/ EP equipment and chemical sourcing.<\/p>\n
\tHe\/She will be reporting to Head Supply Chain Manager.<\/p>\n
Duties and Responsibilities but not limited to;<\/p>\n
\tPlating materials Forecast, plan, implement and control plating schedule for job and review and adjust where necessary.
\n\tCarry out plating processes
\n\tEnsure availability of process water through timely operation of reverse osmosis water treatment water.
\n\tBalance quality, productivity, cost, safety and morale to achieve positive results in all areas.
\n\tMake decisions about equipment use, maintenance, modification and organizing the repair and routine maintenance of plating equipment.
\n\tWork with other departmental heads to implement the company's policies and goals.
\n\tMonitor quality standards of the products
\n\tImplement standard operating procedures for plating operations and chemical analysis of plating solutions and ensure they are adhered to.
\n\tChemical analysis through volumetric analysis
\n\tDensity, PH and conductivity tests
\n\tHull cell test
\n\tCalibration of laboratory equipment
\n\tTimely prepare and maintain plating reports
\n\tPreparation and maintenance of laboratory documentation.
\n\tDay to day plating cost tracking<\/p>\n
More Details on Experience<\/p>\n
\tBSc degree in Chemistry\/Science\/Engineering
\n\tMinimum 3 years\u2019 experience in electrolysis process
\n\tAnalytics and Communication skills<\/p>\n
