\tTeam Leadership & Performance
\n\tLead, coach, and manage a team of 2\u20134 Sales Representatives to exceed targets
\n\tRun regular sales huddles, pipeline reviews, and field coaching sessions
\n\tImplement incentive structures and performance improvement plans to drive accountability
\n\tNew Business Development
\n\tDrive acquisition of new B2B & B2C clients, focusing on highvolume shippers (SMEs, ecommerce, manufacturers, wholesalers)
\n\tPersonally lead negotiations for key corporate and strategic accounts
\n\tDevelop territory plans to maximize coverage across Nairobi and surrounding areas
\n\tMarket Intelligence & Strategy
\n\tMaintain deep knowledge of Kenya\u2019s courier and logistics landscape
\n\tMonitor competitor activity, pricing, and service offerings (lastmile, sameday, freight)
\n\tShare regular insights with Operations and Pricing teams on market trends and customer needs
\n\tPricing & Commercial Strategy
\n\tCollaborate with Operations to develop competitive, customized proposals
\n\tApply strong understanding of cost drivers (fuel, delivery zones, weight brackets) to ensure profitable pricing
\n\tCustomer Experience & Retention
\n\tEnsure high service standards postsale to minimize churn
\n\tAct as escalation point for key client issues, working closely with Operations for swift resolution<\/p>\n
Key Requirements<\/p>\n
\t4\u20136 years\u2019 experience in logistics\/courier\/freight sales (Kenyan market)
\n\tMinimum 2 years in a supervisory or team lead role
\n\tProven success in acquiring new business and closing highvalue deals
\n\tStrong understanding of logistics pricing models (volumetric weight, surcharges, lastmile costs)<\/p>\n
