Our client is a fast-growing logistics provider providing a full\u00a0suite of logistics services and supply chain solutions including sea\/air freight, warehousing and last-mile delivery from China to Kenya.<\/p>\n
They are looking to hire high-energy and results driven sales executives to enable them expand their footprint and connect more businesses with their prime logistics services.<\/p>\n
The successful candidate\/s will\u00a0be the face of the company, responsible for identifying new business opportunities and building lasting relationships with clients, the goal being to drive revenue by selling the suite of logistics services.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tHunt for new leads and convert them into active shipping accounts.
\n\tMaintain and grow existing client portfolios through exceptional service including handling after sales issues and improve customer satisfaction
\n\tUnderstand client pain points and tailor logistics packages to meet their specific needs.
\n\tCollect market information, competitor activities and customer needs and provide feedback to the company in a timely manner.
\n\tTrack sales pipeline and provide regular updates on targets and achievements.
\n\tFollow up on customer orders, ensure goods are warehoused on time and promptly notify customers of cargo arrival details and pickup procedures upon arrival at the port.<\/p>\n
Desired Skills & Qualifications:<\/p>\n
\tCollege Diploma or related field of study
\n\tAtleast 1-2 years proven sales experience preferably within the logistics or freight forwarding industry.
\n\tGood communication and interpersonal skills\u00a0
\n\tGood negotiation and “closing” skills.
\n\tA self-starter who is resilient, target-driven, and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
\n\tPresentable and well-groomed with a professional attitude<\/p>\n
