The General Trade Associate is responsible for end-to-end order processing, customer coordination, and execution support across the general trade channel. The role ensures accurate order capture, timely invoicing, delivery coordination, and issue resolution to drive sales continuity, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tOrder Processing & System Accuracy
\n\tProcess customer orders received via email, WhatsApp, Solutech, or other approved channels.
\n\tCapture and validate orders in SAP ensuring correct quantities, pricing, and discounts.
\n\tVerify and confirm GT orders before approval to ensure data accuracy.
\n\tReprint and release delivery notes and invoices where required.
\n\tCustomer Engagement & Sales Support
\n\tCall customers to:
\n\tAddress inquiries and resolve order-related issues
\n\tSupport selling initiatives and upsell products
\n\tCommunicate ongoing offers and promotions
\n\tProactively follow up on pending or long-standing customer orders.
\n\tSales Coordination & Order Fulfilment
\n\tWork closely with HODs and sales teams to:
\n\tProvide order status updates
\n\tPrioritize urgent or high-value orders
\n\tCoordinate with logistics to ensure timely dispatch and delivery.
\n\tTrack orders to ensure completeness and minimize delays or short supplies.
\n\tInvoice, Credit & Documentation Control
\n\tVerify and sign invoices (excluding specific accounts such as Suntory where applicable).
\n\tReview and validate all market return credit notes before approval.
\n\tEnsure proper documentation and audit compliance for all transactions.
\n\tIssue Resolution & Exception Handling
\n\tIdentify and escalate dispatch challenges (e.g., stock unavailability, short expiry, delays).
\n\tCoordinate with relevant stakeholders to resolve order fulfillment gaps.
\n\tSupport resolution of customer complaints related to deliveries and invoicing.
\n\tLogistics & Distribution Coordination
\n\tLiaise with logistics teams to:
\n\tConfirm tonnage planning and truck allocation
\n\tResolve offloading challenges at customer premises
\n\tEnsure smooth last-mile delivery execution.
\n\tAdministrative & Operational Support
\n\tMaintain accurate records of orders, invoices, and delivery notes.
\n\tParticipate in urgent operational meetings and provide updates.
\n\tSupport onboarding\/induction of new employees within the function where required.<\/p>\n
Qualifications & Experience<\/p>\n
\tBachelor\u2019s degree or Diploma in Business, Sales, or Supply Chain
\n\t2\u20134 years\u2019 experience in general trade sales operations or order management
\n\tExperience working with SAP or similar ERP systems
\n\tFMCG experience is highly preferred<\/p>\n
