This includes the project management and active participation in POCs in partnership with the relevant teams both internally and within the customer and\/or commercial partner.
\n\tHave the ability to listen and to understand the technical requirements of the customer, reading between the lines to build a solution which outperforms the competitor offering.
\n\tBe the primary technical point of contact for the customer(s) and partners in close collaboration with your sales partner.
\n\tSupport the sales plan, for your vertical(s), by assisting the: SEs, Team Leads, Account Managers and SEM.
\n\tAssist with Proof-of-Concepts that involve setup and configuration of Fortinet and associated technologies.
\n\tSupport the SEs and Account Managers, by preparing and conducting product demonstrations, both virtual and face-to-face.
\n\tSupporting the sales opportunity by: white-boarding, discussing and presenting on our products and solutions, to customers and partners<\/p>\n

\tHave a high aptitude for security technology in network, endpoint and application areas. The NSE8, CCIE, CISSP accreditation would also be beneficial.
\n\tAre currently or have previously worked in a pre-sales engineer role, managing end to end technical aspects of deals, through to technical closure.
\n\tCan demonstrate your problem solving skills and how this has impacted key wins within your current organization.
\n\tUnderstand and can demonstrate your ability to build and maintain customer and partner relationships, including your ability to effectively communicate technically to a range of both external and internal stakeholders
\n\tStrong understanding of cybersecurity technologies such as encryption, authentication, network security, intrusion prevention, malware protection, routing, switching, LAN\/WAN\u00a0
\n\tExperience in WAN Edge, Core, ISP market.
\n\tStrong understanding of SDWAN, SDN, Cloud Security, Virtualization, NFV etc\u00a0
\n\tAbility to address complex challenges and design solutions that support secure, resilient, and compliant operations
\n\tFamiliarity with technologies and protocols such as RADIUS, PKI, IKE, Certificates, L2TP, IPSEC, FIREWALL, 802.1Q, MD5, SSH, SSL, SHA1, DES, 3DES\u00a0
\n\tKnowledge of main competitive solutions: e.g. Cisco, Juniper, HPE, Palo Alto Networks.
