JOB RESPONSIBILITIES<\/p>\n
\tCoats surfaces of contract units with primer, paint, lacquer, epoxy, resin or other material, using brushes, rollers, spray guns and other devices.
\n\tRemoves old paint using liquid paint remover and scraper or plastic\/sand media blasting techniques.
\n\tSmoothes surface with sandpaper and steel wool. Roughens aluminum surfaces with acid solution and steel wool to insure that paint adheres to surface and provides corrosion control methods to customer specifications.
\n\tMasks and covers portions of surfaces not to be painted. Paints insignia, letters or numerals on vehicle surface, using stencils.
\n\tPerforms all other position related duties as assigned or requested.<\/p>\n
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS<\/p>\n
\tHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
\n\tThree (3) years recent experience in the maintenance, water blasting, sand blasting, bead blasting, overhaul and painting\/depainting of contract unit equipment is required.
\n\tMust have normal color vision.
\n\tPFT and Respirator Fit test may be required.
\n\tMust be in possession of a valid passport and able to travel internationally.
\n\tPassport should be valid for at least one (1) year at the time of hire.
\n\tAbility to successfully pass contract medical requirements and maintain requirements for duration of deployment.
\n\tMust be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials\/authorization.<\/p>\n
