Job Purpose <\/p>\n
To deliver high-quality teaching and assessment through lectures, seminars, and supervision, while providing academic leadership in curriculum development, student evaluation, and learning strategies, supporting student success, and fostering effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to advance the Institute\u2019s academic objectives<\/p>\n
Duties and Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tTeach and examine courses through lectures, seminars and supervision.
\n\tProvide leadership in the development of appropriate syllabuses, resources, marking policies, assessment and learning strategies in the Institute.
\n\tDeliver lectures and monitor student progress during training, provide support and advice to enable the students excel in their studies.
\n\tEvaluate academic progress of students, record findings and devise action plans where necessary.
\n\tManage the relationship with all key stakeholders both internally and externally and maintain appropriate communication with them.
\n\tAny other duty as may be assigned.<\/p>\n
Qualifications and Requirements<\/p>\n
\tBachelor\u2019s degree in Nursing (BScN) or its equivalent, in an institution recognized by the Nursing Council of Kenya.
\n\tHigher Diploma in Critical Care Nursing in an institution recognized by the Nursing Council of Kenya.
\n\t.A Master’s degree in Nursing will be an added advantage.
\n\tAt least three (3) years work experience in Critical Care Nursing.
\n\tRegistration with the Nursing Council of Kenya.
\n\tValid practice license from the Nursing Council of Kenya
\n\tProficiency in computer applications.
\n\tCompliance with Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution of Kenya.<\/p>\n
