Overall Responsibility<\/p>\n
The Record Management Assistant will be responsible for timely and accurate processing of documents into the EDMS-ECM software. The role supports document the imaging project at the records management office while ensuring adherence to internal controls, turnaround time (TAT) and statutory compliance.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tCollect retrieved files on daily basis as requested by the users or as assigned by your supervisor.
\n\tDismantle the files as per the given guidelines.
\n\tScan and upload the documents to the given folders in the EDMS per section.
\n\tReassemble the scanned files and feed them into their respective archive\u2019s boxes.
\n\tLabel the scanned files clearly with the accurate scan date.
\n\tReview the scanned documents for quality checks within the system.
\n\tKeep an updated inventory within the provided computer.
\n\tRe-shelve the active scanned files.
\n\tEnsure archive files are returned to their respective boxes of origin without mixing with files from different boxes.
\n\tAssisting in preparation of records to archives and\u00a0 in receiving retrieved files from the archives.<\/p>\n
Academic and Professional Qualifications required<\/p>\n
\tDegree in Records Management or a related relevant field.
\n\tOne-year experience working in a busy digitization environment.<\/p>\n

\tExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.
\n\tProven ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
\n\tKeen to details.
