ABOUT THE ROLE<\/p>\n
Key responsibilities for the role include:\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tTeach and deliver exceptional, real world, enquiry-based\u00a0Kiswahili\/ CRE\/History\/Geography\u00a0lessons that align with the Kenya\u00a0curriculum requirements.
\n\tMaintain positive, constructive and professional relationships with students, their families and colleagues.\u00a0
\n\tDevelop lessons plans and partner with the Learning Design Team in reviewing and updating lessons when required\/ desired.
\n\tCreate a classroom environment that is conducive to learning, is developmentally appropriate to the maturity and interests of the students and maintain an organized and focused learning environment.
\n\tInfuse joy and passion for learning in lessons\u00a0so that students are excited\u00a0and interested in their academic excellence.\u00a0\u00a0
\n\tProvide necessary accommodations and modifications for the growth and success of all students both in academic and culture expectations.
\n\tBe accountable for students\u2019 mastery of content and academic standards.
\n\tIntegrate interactive technology into lessons to enhance instructional delivery.
\n\tSet and communicate rigorous and ambitious goals for all students and provide effective student feedback so they internalize them.
\n\tProvide consistent rewards and\/or consequences for student behavior and model expected behaviour at all times for students to emulate
\n\tConsistently meet the ambitious goals of a rapidly-growing organization
\n\tServe as teacher on duty and\/or boarding teacher on duty and support school wide programs aimed at behavior interventions.
\n\tTimely capture of students data on academic outcomes and articulation of students progress to NP families and other stakeholders when called upon to do so.
\n\tSupport clubs, societies and other core-curricular enrichments at the school aimed at building all rounded students.
\n\tServe as a home room teachers when called upon to do so.<\/p>\n
ABOUT YOU<\/p>\n
Skills and Qualifications required:<\/p>\n
\tTSC certification\u00a0and a relevant Degree in Education in the teaching subjects of\u00a0Kiswahili\/ CRE\/History\/Geography.
\n\tStrictly 3+years teaching experience.
\n\tYou are a great communicator. You are able to provide clear and effective written and verbal communication.
