We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Finance and Operations Assistant to support our client\u2019s finance and operational functions. This role involves handling accounting tasks, supporting compliance, coordinating logistics, and ensuring efficient day-to-day operations across the organization.<\/p>\n
RESPONSIBILITIES:<\/p>\n
\tPost transactions in the accounting system accurately and timely.
\n\tPrepare and file tax returns (VAT, Instalment Taxes, WHT) via iTax.
\n\tManage petty cash and maintain proper records.
\n\tMonitor and manage debtors, including conducting on-site collections when necessary.
\n\tCoordinate and follow up with internal auditors.
\n\tReview travel budgets and verify supporting documentation.
\n\tAssist with bank correspondences and reconciliations.
\n\tHandle registration with regulatory bodies (e.g., Pharmacy and Poisons Board).
\n\tProvide audit support and maintain compliance documentation.
\n\tCoordinate with freight agents for clearance and logistics.
\n\tFollow up with suppliers to ensure smooth operations.
\n\tPrepare and submit tenders accurately and on time.
\n\tSupport daily order processing and banking activities when required.
\n\tMaintain organized and up-to-date company records and filing systems.
\n\tConduct stock reconciliations and periodic stock takes.
\n\tMonitor stock levels and plan to avoid stockouts.<\/p>\n
REQUIREMENTS:<\/p>\n
\tBachelor\u2019s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
\n\tCPA Section 2 in progress is required.
\n\tProficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Office Suite.<\/p>\n
