Job Objective<\/p>\n
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented professional, responsible for the strategic leadership of the University’s admissions function and the coordination of curriculum development, oversight and academic governance. Reporting to the Deputy Registrar- Academic Affairs, the position holder will be responsible for:<\/p>\n
Duties and responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tOversee and monitor the entire admissions process, including application review, selection, and\u00a0
\n\tissuance of admission letters, and prepare related management reports.
\n\tDevelop and implement student recruitment strategies in liaison with marketing and communications\u00a0
\n\tteams.
\n\tCoordinate the development, review, and implementation of academic programmes.
\n\tCoordinate the development and implementation of the University academic calendar and timetables,\u00a0
\n\tensuring capacity optimization.
\n\tEnsure strict conformance to academic rules, regulations, and accreditation requirements from professional and statutory bodies
\n\tAnalyse admissions data and market intelligence to inform University strategy.
\n\tPromote student satisfaction and retention
\n\tEnsure compliance with the established Quality Management System.
\n\tAny other duties as may be assigned.<\/p>\n
qualification and experience<\/p>\n
\tA minimum of a Masters degree from an accredited university.
\n\tA qualification in Education will be an added advantage
\n\tA relevant and recognized professional qualification.
\n\t\u00a0Membership to a relevant and recognized professional body.
\n\tAt least five (5) years of relevant working experience, including a minimum of two (2) years in a supervisory position.
\n\tProven experience in managing complex examination processes
\n\tExperience with examination bodies, academic regulations, policies, and quality assurance frameworks
\n\tProficiency in using academic management information systems.
\n\tPossesses leadership and team management skills.
\n\tPossesses strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
\n\tHigh level of integrity and professionalism.
\n\tAdvanced computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, data analysis tools & AI.<\/p>\n
