\tManagement of broker Relationships to deliver targeted premium outputs.
\n\tPipeline business management quotation processing and transmitting the same to brokers within TATSs
\n\tDraw up and operate SLAs with brokers for differentiated service delivery.\u00a0
\n\tAdhere to Interdepartmental Service level Standards \u00a0 in liaison with Underwriting team across the branches.
\n\tChampion cross selling \u00a0 for corporate business and other special assignments as allocated
\n\tCollect market intelligence through research by reading articles, publications, internet, word of mouth and networking daily to keep abreast of market developments.
\n\tAssess market opportunities with respect to competitor sales sources by remaining in touch with market forces and influencing.
\n\tManage knowledge capital by collecting, categorizing, storing, protecting, and distributing the results of market.<\/p>\n
Financial<\/p>\n
\tDeliver financial \u00a0 \u00a0parameters for GWP, loss ratios, cross selling
\n\tDebt management broker as per the debt management \u00a0 standard \u00a0
\n\tManage and control expenditure for travel, events, and promotional items.
\n\tPlan, assign and allocate funds for events plans, or promotional items required for brand management \u00a0 through brand management activities as per the structured calendar<\/p>\n
Operations & Compliance\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tActively keep up to date with all relevant knowledge, legislation and developments within the business unit and insurance industry that may have an impact on the Business Advantage\u00a0
\n\tCoordinate Compliance with Regulatory requirements for Brokers \u00a0 for licensing and on boarding requirements as per ABC Third party Standards.<\/p>\n
\u00a0Management reporting<\/p>\n
\tPrepare accurate production reports\/ other \u00a0 statistics \u00a0 for management reporting
\n\tRepresent the department in the absence of the head of the department in various business reporting<\/p>\n
Education and Experience Required<\/p>\n
\tBachelor\u2019s degree in a business-related field (Actuarial Science, B.Com Insurance, Business Administration) \u00a0
\n\t7 \u2013 10 years of sales management and business development experience in Insurance, at least 5 – 6 of which should be in General Insurance and holding a management role.
\n\tACII, Diploma in Insurance (UK) or\u00a0AIIK, Diploma in Insurance (Kenya) or with good progress in either.\u00a0<\/p>\n
