Purpose of the Role <\/p>\n
The School Nurse plays a central role in promoting the health, safety, and wellbeing of all pupils and staff. This includes delivering high\u2011quality clinical care, supporting the pastoral life of the school, and contributing to the wider ethos of kindness, courage, and community engagement for which Peponi House is known. The nurse also supports early identification of health needs, contributes to safeguarding practice, and promotes health education<\/p>\n
Qualifications & Professional Requirements
\nEssential<\/p>\n
\tRegistered Nurse with either Diploma\/Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
\n\tBasic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support certifications.
\n\tCurrent practicing license from the Nursing council of Kenya.
\n\tEvidence of continuous professional development.
\n\tValid certification or training relevant to paediatric first aid and emergency care.<\/p>\n
