Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tFinancial Reporting & MIS
\n\tPrepare and present monthly MIS reports, including P&L, balance sheet, cash flow statements, and variance analysis
\n\tProvide actionable insights to management to support business performance and cost optimization
\n\tMonitor financial KPIs and highlight risks and opportunities
\n\tAccounts Receivable & Payable
\n\tOversee end-to-end AR\/AP processes, ensuring timely invoicing, collections, and supplier payments
\n\tPerform regular reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
\n\tStrengthen credit control processes and manage aging reports
\n\tInventory & Cost Accounting
\n\tManage inventory accounting, stock valuation, and reconciliation across multiple business units
\n\tEnsure accuracy in cost allocation, stock movements, and reporting
\n\tWork closely with operations to minimize stock variances and losses
\n\tTaxation & Compliance
\n\tEnsure full compliance with Kenyan tax regulations, including VAT, Withholding Tax (WHT), and other statutory obligations
\n\tPrepare and file accurate tax returns within deadlines
\n\tLiaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities as required
\n\tFinancial Close & Controls
\n\tLead month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
\n\tMaintain strong internal controls and ensure adherence to accounting policies and procedures
\n\tSupport audit processes and implement recommendations for continuous improvement
\n\tStakeholder Management
\n\tAct as a key liaison between finance and business units, including suppliers and partners
\n\tLeverage language skills to facilitate smooth communication and negotiations with regional stakeholders<\/p>\n
Candidate Profile:<\/p>\n
\tQualified (CPA \/ ACCA \/ CA, Inter CA), MBA Finance
\n\t5\u20138 years of relevant experience
\n\tStrong in MIS, reporting, and Excel\/ERP systems
\n\tLanguage Skills: English, Swahili, Hindi, Gujarati, Punjabi.
\n\tCandidates with experience in trading, logistics, petroleum, or FMCG sectors are encouraged to apply.
