Job Role<\/p>\n
\tTo ensure the safe, accurate, and efficient refueling of aircraft while maintaining and inspecting aviation fuel systems and equipment. The role is critical in supporting flight operations by ensuring fuel quality, adherence to safety standards, and compliance with aviation regulations.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\u00a0 Aircraft Refueling Operations<\/p>\n
\tPerform aircraft refueling and defueling in accordance with aviation safety standards.
\n\tEnsure correct fuel type, quantity, and quality are delivered as per flight requirements.
\n\tCoordinate with pilots and ground crew to confirm fueling instructions.<\/p>\n
Fuel System Maintenance<\/p>\n
\tInspect, maintain, and troubleshoot fuel systems and refueling equipment.
\n\tConduct routine checks on fuel pumps, hoses, valves, and storage systems.
\n\tIdentify faults and perform basic repairs or escalate issues when necessary.<\/p>\n
\u00a0 \u00a0Fuel Quality Control<\/p>\n
\tConduct fuel sampling and testing to ensure compliance with aviation fuel standards.
\n\tMonitor fuel storage conditions to prevent contamination.
\n\tMaintain strict quality assurance procedures at all times.<\/p>\n
\u00a0 \u00a0Safety and Compliance<\/p>\n
\tAdhere to aviation safety regulations and company procedures at all times.
\n\tEnsure proper grounding of aircraft and equipment during refueling.
\n\tFollow hazardous material handling protocols and emergency procedures.
\n\tUse appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).<\/p>\n
\u00a0 \u00a0Documentation and Reporting<\/p>\n
\tMaintain accurate records of fuel dispensed, inspections, and maintenance activities.
\n\tComplete fueling logs, checklists, and incident reports as required.
\n\tReport any discrepancies, faults, or safety concerns promptly.<\/p>\n
\u00a0 \u00a0Teamwork and Operational Support<\/p>\n
\tWork closely with ground handling teams, engineers, and flight crew.
\n\tSupport turnaround operations to ensure timely departures.
\n\tAssist in training junior staff where required<\/p>\n
Qualification<\/p>\n
Qualifications<\/p>\n
\tDiploma or Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Aviation Technology, or related field
\n\tValid training\/certification in aircraft refueling or fuel handling (added advantage)
\n\tMinimum of 1\u20133 years\u2019 experience in aviation fueling, oil & gas, or related field
\n\tBasic knowledge of aviation fuel systems and safety procedures<\/p>\n
