Job Purpose:<\/p>\n
\tTo oversee the administration, optimization, security and performance of the SACCO\u2019s Core Banking System to ensure efficient service delivery and system reliability.\u00a0Kenya Teachers SACCOs Association (KETSA), is recruiting on behalf of one of its member SACCOs, a leading SACCO in Kenya, for the following positions:<\/p>\n
The Role<\/p>\n
The successful jobholder will be required to:<\/p>\n
\tEnsure service availability on CBS and all integrating systems such as alternate channels.
\n\tUndertake the administration and maintenance of CBS and integrated channels.
\n\tEnsure accuracy, accountability, and delivery of all CBS changes, updates, upgrades, and patches.
\n\tOffer technical assistance and guidance in projects, upgrades, customizations, and digital business initiatives.
\n\tOversee the system integration into the core banking system and day to day operational running of integrated channels.
\n\tAnalyze CBS problems and implement innovative fixes, monitoring, tuning and performance optimization.
\n\tRecommend improvements to existing CBS technical and business processes to meet the SACCO\u2019s requirements.
\n\tWork closely with IT Security to ensure that applications are well secured.
\n\tWork closely with testing\/project teams to ensure solutions developed are defect
\n\tfree and meet business requirements.
\n\tSupport a 24\/7 environment and resolve business and IT incidents with innovative solutions to ensure clients receive the highest level of service.
\n\tIdentify emerging user needs and plan for new systems features or changes to meet business requirements.
\n\tEvaluate CBS capabilities and technologies for their potential application to business processes.<\/p>\n
Skills, Competencies and Experience<\/p>\n
The successful candidate will be required to have the following skills and competencies:<\/p>\n
\tA bachelor\u2019s degree in information technology, computer science or related field is required.
\n\tAt least five (5) years\u2019 experience in core banking application (preferably in SACCO\/banking sector).
\n\tMandatory certification (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, Oracle
\n\tCertified Professional will be an added advantage).
\n\tITIL Foundation certification.
\n\tDemonstrated in depth Java development experience.
\n\tCertification in programming.
\n\tDemonstrated experience in integration and middleware systems.
\n\tTeam player and attention to detail.
\n\tExpertise\/Proficiency in enterprise server operating systems and applications such as: Windows Server, Linux, Redhat, Oracle, DB2, MSSQL, Web Services, Java, Python, JBASIC.
\n\tStrong understanding of cybersecurity and data protection.
\n\tKCSE Mean Grade: C+ and above
\n\tAge: Between 35 \u2013 40 years<\/p>\n
