As a Program Coordinator and M&E Officer at Lightup Impact, you\u2019ll be responsible for managing and coordinating two main programs within our organization: capacity strengthening online and in-person trainings and networking events (public and private to our members). You will also be responsible for data collection and analysis based on pre-existing M&E frameworks.\u00a0<\/p>\n
You\u2019ll collaborate directly with the program managers, our partners, and other stakeholders to plan and ensure the successful implementation and execution of these programs. You\u2019ll also play a vital role in facilitating meaningful engagement with stakeholders.<\/p>\n
Responsibilities and main tasks:<\/p>\n
Program implementation and coordination:<\/p>\n
\tCoordinate logistics and administrative tasks related to program implementation, including scheduling meetings, sending emails to training or event participants and partners, and coordinating online Zoom meetings.
\n\tCollaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication, coordination, and collaboration throughout the program lifecycle.
\n\tWork closely with the program manager to ensure the project workplan is smoothly implemented.<\/p>\n
Stakeholder engagement and partnerships:<\/p>\n
\tCultivate and maintain positive relationships with program participants, partners, donors, trainers, and other stakeholders through regular communication, engagement, and feedback mechanisms.<\/p>\n
Monitoring, evaluation, and reporting:<\/p>\n
\tAssist in the collection, analysis, and reporting of program data and performance indicators to assess progress, measure outcomes, and identify areas for improvement.
\n\tWork closely with the program manager to monitor program activities and progress against targets, ensuring timely reporting to relevant stakeholders.\u00a0
\n\tWork closely with the communications team, providing content and performance data for quarterly or annual reports.<\/p>\n
Your profile<\/p>\n
\tBachelor\u2019s degree or certification\/diploma in a relevant field such as International Development, Social Sciences, Community Development, Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning, Program Management, or a related discipline.
\n\tAt least 1-2 years of proven experience working in program coordination, project management, or related roles, preferably within the nonprofit sector or community development context.
\n\tStrong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and priorities.
\n\tExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders and build positive relationships.
\n\tAvailable to travel for in-person training activities within Kenya.\u00a0
\n\tProficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Suite, and other relevant software applications.
\n\tExperience in working with a remote team and with digital program\/project management software (e.g., Asana) and the Zoom platform is an advantage<\/p>\n
